
Touchpoint math. It was the big new trend with teachers when I was in elementary school, and pretty much messed me up for life I think. I still have to touch the dots when I do math on paper/mentally. Instead of memorizing 3 + 6 = 9, we’d have to go: one, two, three, plus onetwo, threefour, fivesix = nine.
